| Scott Nissen For President! |

Congratulations to Scott Nissen, President and Founder of Nissen and Associates Staffing Continuum. He is now the new President of Wisconsin Association of Staffing Services (WASS).
WASS was founded in 1971 as a legislative watchdog for the staffing industry. WASS remains alert for adverse legislation so the staffing industry can continue to operate in a regulation-free environment. WASS conducts informational training sessions on such topics as recruiting, EEOC, unemployment, etc. Members are made up of both national companies and local independents.
Scott Nissen was inducted into the presidency in November, 2000. He will serve as president for one year. So far, he has been instrumental in creating the vision, mission, and values statements for WASS.
"Why did I accept the nomination as President? Because the staffing industry is a caring industry," Scott Nissen said. "We care about selecting the right people for the right opportunities. We care about our businesses and about protecting them. This caring attitude makes it very easy to want to get involved in WASS."
"I've seen the staffing industry in the last twelve years go from being a temporary service only business to becoming the arm of Human Resource deparments. We recruit people for jobs offering flexibility to both employees and companies. We provide a bridge to permanent employment. We provide choice. We train. With 90% of companies using staffing services, the model is certainly tried and true."
