The AARP recently announced the “Best Employers for Workers Over 50” list and Janesville’s Mercy Health System is this year’s top-ranked employer. Why were they voted the top? Judges scored it high for having a variety of numerous flexible work options, including weekend-only work, work-at-home opportunities and seasonal work programs that allow employees to go on leave for extended periods while maintaining their benefits eligibility.
